Two Years Old
I turned two last week! I don't know what that means, but I had a good time doing it. Mommy documented my whole day just like she did last year.
It started out with a visit from my friend Karson. We played in my sandbox and then we ran around the yard with some sticks. Karson said we were cutting down trees with them. I don't know what he meant, but I did it anyways, AND IT WAS FUN!
I love that guy. Too bad he doesn't like to cuddle as much as I do!
After Karson went home I played naked in my pool for a while. Playing naked is good except for sometimes I get mosquito bites on my bum. (At least Mommy didn't take a picture of that!)
After I played in my pool for a while, Daddy came home and we had some sandwiches for lunch. Then we went to see Doctor Fourie. Only, Mommy got the days wrong so we have to go again this week.
On the way home from not seeing the doctor we stopped to get some more lunch for me. I didn't eat very much of my sandwich (Mommy's note: Surprise, surprise...) and since it was my birthday I got have fries and watch Tractor Tom. What could be better than that?
At around supper time my cousin Noah and my Aunties came to see me. We read a story that my Mommy's Aunty Orla sent for me with some presents for Sam. I like presents. Especially book ones. Noah does too.
We had tacos for supper. My favorite. (Noah just had cheese.)
Then Mommy put together my birthday swing. Noah and I tried to help. I helped by losing one of the screw lids and Noah helped by waving the poles around. Mommy kicked us out of the kitchen after that. I'm not sure why.
Finally, my big day was over. I ended it by doing one of my absolute favoritist things in the whole wide world. I played on Mommy and Daddy's bed for a while. "Ah plillow? Ana blinkit?"
I had so much fun on my birthday and I hadn't even had my party yet! Wait till you hear about that!

Ben, I can't believe how beautiful that picture of you on your mom's bed is. Your mom should enter you in a contest or something. Maybe she'd win a Spa day or something. Or you'd win a college education! That'd be cool. Seriously, there has to be a Cutest Little Boy on the Planet Contest...you'd have a good shot I think.
I can't believe that I missed your birthday.
At least your coming to my house this weekend and we get to play. I really miss you and your little brother already.
I agree with Mel about that picture being oh, so cute. Ben, did you know that af you had dark brown hair that you look quite a bit like your Auntie Ang?

I hope you had a wonderful day on your Birthday. Your 2nd birthday is pretty special,but you have a whole bunch more to look forward to.
